Who we are

Sylhet Women’s Nursing College started with Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery course with 50 seat in 2016 . In year 2020, Sylhet Womens Nursing college turn into Sylhet Womens Nursing College through the permission of the admission of Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. But over the years, the student population of SWNC has grown significantly. We have more than 360 seat available to admit in our college. So far 456 students passed out from our college.

Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery (3 Year Duration)
Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2 Year Duration)

By the grace of Almighty Allah, it is a matter of great satisfaction for me to get the opportunity to engage myself for the enrollment of 3rd batch of students.

I am sufficiently confident of assuring the prospective students of this program of obtaining a useful and demanding degree that shall offer them a brighter future. Having been obtained the Diploma Degree, the successful students can pursuit for higher education in nursing like B.Sc and Master in Nursing.

Sylhet Women’s Nursing College is well equipped with qualified teachers, computer lab, Nursing & Midwifery lab, Anatomy & Physiology lab, Nutrition lab, Library and other facilities which will make the students skilled professionals.

Holy Sylhet Holding Limited (HSHL)

In 2007, Holy Sylhet Holding Limited (HSHL) commenced the college and hospital with the permission of the Government of Bangladesh and after completing all the necessary formalities with the respective Ministries, Departments, Medical Associations and University.HSHL also has plans to establish a Dental College and 4-year Nursing College on its 3-Acre property in the heart of Sylhet City.

Presently, the entire organization has 96 Directors and 13 Shareholders and over 50% of them invest in the organization as Non Resident Bangladeshis.
As per the Government of Bangladesh's investment policy this qualifies HSHL and its sister concerns as one of the largest NRB (Non Resident Bangladeshi) institutional investments in Bangladesh.Sylhet

Sylhet Women's Medical College Hospital (SWMCH)

Sylhet Women's Medical College is a private medical College in Bangladesh, exclusively for female students, established in 2005. Sylhet Women's Medical College and Hospital is a teaching and medical facility with 3 high-rise buildings built on 130,000 square feet of land in the heart of Sylhet.
It is located in Mirboxtola, in central Sylhet. It was previously affiliated with Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) under the School of Medical Sciences but as of 2019 it is now under Sylhet Medical University (SMU).

It is the country's second best medical college for Women and according to the 2020 census, the leading private medical college in the Sylhet division in terms of expertise.
Its student population has international students from India, Nepal, Middle East, Canada, United Kingdom and more.
It offers a five-year course of study leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. A one-year internship after graduation is compulsory for all graduates. The degree is recognised by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.
